to put into the standard Open Water Diver course? Now there's a quick and easy program
designed especially for you! This is your chance to slap on some fins, strap on
a mask and experience an intense adventure in a short amount of time.
Why PADI Scuba Diver?
The PADI Scuba Diver program is a pre-entry level certification that is perfect
for vacationers or people who only plan to dive a couple times a year. As a
subprogram of the PADI Open Water Diver program, the PADI Scuba Diver rating
allows you to get certified quickly and easily by minimizing time constraints.
With the PADI Scuba Diver certification you can dive under the direct
supervision of a diving professional on your next vacation or dive trip.
What do I need to start?
Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the
water can earn a Scuba Diver certification. If you are between 10 and 14 or
have a child between these ages, there is a PADI Junior Scuba Diver program
available.
Junior Scuba Diver students must be at least 10 years old.
What will I do?
Throughout the course, you'll learn fundamentals of
scuba diving, including dive equipment and
techniques. You earn this certification by completing three
pool dives and knowledge development sessions in Koh
Samui followed by making two open water dives at
prime locations around Ko
Samui.
How long will it take?
2 Days - based in Koh Samui
Our dive school PADI Scuba Diver course last only two days for a group size of maximum of 4 people. In order to complete all
the class room material and the confine water exercises less then one day we have to limit the group size to 4 divers.
PADI programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate
mastery of the scuba skills taught in the course. Small group size in Koh Samui assure
you get personal attention from our dive school PADI professionals.
Small group size allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you,
relaxed and stress-free. The open water dives are conducted at a prime
beach location around Koh Tao. We use surface
interval and boat journey time, from Ko Samui to the dive site and back, to
review PADI Scuba Diver course material and prepare for the open water dives.
Where can I go from here?
After completing the Scuba Diver program, you'll
want to continue your dive education and the PADI
Open Water Diver certification to explore more dive
opportunities. Searobin Dive Center in Ko
Samui can complete your dive education by upgrading a PADI Scuba Diver to a PADI
Open Water Diver in two days. |
