This dive site is an underwater granite mountain range encompassing an area of approximately 100 meters square, completely surrounded by deeper waters providing us with a world class dive site.

Regular sightings of whale sharks and bull sharks make this dive site one of the 'musts' of your trip. The pinnacles themselves are completely carpeted with sea anemones, and schools of batfish, barracudas, trevally & fusiliers create a spectacular scene in the surrounding waters.
Recently, on every dive we have spotted between 3 and 10 bull sharks from 1 to over 3 meters long.
In December 2006 our dive shop staff and divers saw one or more whale sharks at Chumphon Pinnacle on December 6, 7, 8, 10. In June 2007 our dive shop saw whale sharks at Chumphon Pinnacle every week.
This often occurrence is unique; we normally see a whale sharks for a day or two and then it moves somewhere else.
